Community is one of our Top 6 Values we would like to see more of in 2025

On Thursday, September 25, the US Values Alliance will collaborate with Values-20 South Africa and the International Working Group for Health Systems Strengthening, to host a special event in the lead up to the Values-20 (V20) conference, focusing on the similarities and differences between how Community is understood in the USA and how Ubuntu is practiced in South Africa.

The V20 is an annual international celebration of values that takes place alongside the G20 Political Summit each year. This year, the Values 20 South Africa team will host the V20 Conference from October 16–17 in Cape Town, both to celebrate the values we wish to see more of in our societies and to explore how these values can be embedded into national and international law and policy.

This will be an interactive event and a unique opportunity for people from the United States, South Africa, and around the world to exchange ideas on building healthier and more values-driven societies.
